Charging in rain/snow

Sorry to ask what may seem like a dumb question. Just picked up my 2013 Volt (I love it so far!), and I wondered if there is any problem with charging it while it's raining? My company has a charging station, and I assume it's OK, but wanted to check with you guys.

Very good question. If water ever gets inside the charger the worst that can happen is a current surge - kind of like a short and this would pop the breaker at the source. No damage to the Volt.

However I am not an electrical engineer so..... comments welcomed.
