Driver's seat height adjustment problem.

I just picked up my 2013 Volt last Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't try to adjust the driver's side seat height before I left the dealer. When I try to adjust the height, the lever won't move - seems to be jammed. I have tried to move it while seated, as well as, standing outside the car. Won't move. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to un-jam it without returning to the dealer? I live about 30 miles away and would like to fix it myself.

Success - seat works now

Success! I finally got my driver's side seat height adjustment to work. After I checked the passenger seat to determine which direction I needed to move the lever to raise the seat, I pulled on the lever on the driver's seat just as hard as I could with both hands. After a lot of resistance, it finally popped, and started to work. It now works normally. For some reason it was jammed at the lowest height when it came from the factory.

Driver's seat height adjustment problem.

Check underneath the seat where the adjustment lever is, there should be a spring that attaches to the handle that releases the locking mechanism for the seat track. make sure the spring is not broken and try lubricating the seat tracks lightly with WD-40.
