Issues with Lane Departure and Adpt Cruise

Hello,
I am new to this forum and as usual I found you because I have two issues with my car and I am tired of the dealer putting problem not reproduced for 7 months on the RO. I will also answer questions to things I have discovered to add value to the group. 1. My adaptive cruise and lane departure both stop working for no reason, they just go offline. When it gets over 99 degrees it goes offline. 2. My Samsung S6 Active is now having issues connecting a phone call and dropping calls. I did the recent Android update, it did not fix it. It worked fine when I bought the car.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Lorne

I have the same issue and posted my comments as "Adaptive Cruise Issues". Evidently there is a fault condition where the brake does not fully return after stepped on. The system thinks that the brake is still in use and won't activate the cruise control or lane departure. There is a stealth fix that a dealer can get after calling Chevy. There is a bracket that fixes the problem. I had it installed and it doesn't work.

On my last experience, I went to my dealer and had him retrieve the error codes. The codes (U0078 and U026A) indicated a communication bus failure and a loss of communication with the frontview camera. Without access to the camera, the adaptive cruise and lane departure can't work. I now have a case number with Chevy to resolve this.

I hope that this helps a bit. Steve

GM came up with another fix. It has to do with updating the software that controls the front radars. I had it done a few days ago. So far, I have had no problem. My dealership checks with me regularly and I also am getting calls from GM. I am pleased that they are proactive about it. My dealership also recommended that when the fault occurs, I should call Onstar and have them run a diagnostic while the fault exists. I did that but they didn't see anything. Oh well.
