GM is Making an EV Crossover and it will Probably Look Like This
An image of a Chevrolet EV crossover was shown to the Barclays Global Automotive Conference this week during a presentation made by General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
The unnamed EV crossover appears to based on the Chevrolet Bolt EV, with a similar sized footprint and exterior styling reminiscent of the emissions-free hatch. The image above was included in a part of the presentation addressing General Motors’ electric vehicle roadmap, which will see the automaker introduce two emissions-free crossovers by 2020.
It’s not clear if this will be badged as a Chevrolet or a Buick, but we’re leaning towards it being a Chevy. While GM has come out and said Buick will play a major role in its EV push in coming years, this design looks too similar to the Bolt to be anything other than a bowtie-badged product.
