Protecting and keeping Suede Interior Clean

I just bought a 2013 Chevy Volt. The interior consists of some light suede in parts where it will get extremely dirty. Does anyone have any ideas on how I should protect the suede and how I should clean it when there is a spill or just plain dirty hand prints?
