I get between 42 to 45 miles per charge if I keep it under 65 mph. Currently I have over 1400 miles on a 2012 and only have used 3 gallons of gas.

on that site, does it list who the volt owners are? i would be really interested to know that they are all normal actual people

It shows what they listed as a user name and you can see their location. I am Viridian. I have known at least 2 others. The site isn't affiliated with GM so its run by an individual. You have to provide them with a code so they can pull your onstar data. I know mine matches. 11 months no gas. Have fun, RIck

My wife has driven hers 8000+ miles and has gotten over 500+mpg. All electricty comes from PV panels on the roof. (Kailua, Hawaii)

so the gas mileage is amazing but what i can't find is someone that will tell me what a volt drains out of the house to recharge. does anyone know what their bill went up??

It takes 12.4 kWh for a full charge. You get an alleged 38 to 42 miles on that. Figure cost based on local electric rates.

My cost is $0.10 per kWh.
It costs me between $20 and $25 per month.
I got my Volt last October, the dealer had filled the tank with gas, I have not been to a gas station yet and there is still 4.5 gallons in the tank after 4200 miles.
