For those that a second or third car isn't practical, the Volt is the way to go, hands down. No compromises in terms of day-to-day livability. Road trips? No problem! Just gas it up & go. But for most shorter-range commuting, should be all-electric.

both the Chevrolet Volt & Nissan Leaf has their own pros and cons. I rather take the Volt due to its looks and cause of the gas generator which leaves you limit-less to where you can go.

I agree with statusvolt...Both cars has some best unique features and also some bad features or problems..I like Volt ,reflects as an innovative and exciting brand with a clear vision of the future of green transportation..I really wish that with such great EV like Leaf , Volt, Prius the number of electric cars that will hit roads every month should soon be measured in the thousands.

That is a very interesting review! For me I will get the volt because it has the advantage in terms of range, practical seating and cargo capacity, and looks! This makes me wish that the automakers start making hybrid trucks now!
